Board of Directors
Our Board is made up of volunteers with experience and expertise in many areas relevant to population health and philanthropy. Board members share a common love for the City of Lakewood and a desire to continue the legacy of health and well-being for all citizens. The board includes two members appointed by the Cleveland Clinic and 2/3 are Lakewood residents.
Board members attend regular board meetings and serve on one or more standing committees, which include: Executive; Governance; Finance; and Strategic Learning and Evaluation.
Community members may serve on some Board Committees, such as planning for the Annual Community Meeting. If you would like to be considered for service on the HLF Board or as a community member on a Board Committee, please complete this online application.
The HLF Board accepts applications to its Board of Directors and for community members on Board Committees on an ongoing basis, with an annual call for applicants each fall. The Governance Committee reviews all submitted applications to fill vacancies, for approval at the annual March Board meeting.
Please reach out to HLF’s Executive Director, Kate Ingersoll, if you have any questions.
