HLF's annual community meeting is our chance to share updates on our grantmaking and community engagement work, and to bring together community members, nonprofit partners, and civic leaders to dig into issues affecting Lakewood and the region.

This year, Chris Mosby of The Land, which has spent the past year running a community journalism pilot here in Lakewood, will host a conversation on food security and anti-hunger efforts, including recent and upcoming changes to SNAP benefits and what they mean for our community. Hope Lane-Gavin of the Ohio Association of Food Banks and Jessica Semachko of the Greater Cleveland Food Bank will join to help us understand these issues together and talk through ways to support local efforts filling the gaps.
